The day has finally arrived! After the stellar performance at the Final Party of the Joc dels Jocs this June, Olímpic, the fiberglass horse that stars in the second edition of the #bcnalgalop action at the Barcelona Equestrian Challenge (BECH), has arrived at the Tibidabo this morning. The horse was designed and painted by the students at Virolai Grimm school in Barcelona, and will make a tour of Barcelona this summer, with Tibidabo amusement park being the first stop. The horse will visit various locations in anticipation of the most exciting equestrian competition of the year in September: the CSIO Barcelona.
From Tibidabo you can enjoy a unique view over the city of Barcelona from the heights of some of the fantastic attractions on offer such as the recently restored Avió, the Talaia, and the Giradabo. Alternatively you could take a ride on the Carousel with another group of equine friends. The little horse, symbolic of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, is a mosaic inspired by the work of Gaudí. His body is tattooed with the Olympic rings and his manes and tails colored in gold, silver and bronze to represent the Olympic medals.
¡TAKE A PHOTO WITH OLÍMPIC AND WIN TWO TICKETS FOR CSIO BARCELONA!
Olímpic will be in Tibidabo until next Sunday July 16th. During these two weeks a draw will be activated on both the CSIO Barcelona Facebook and Instagram page, and anyone who takes a picture with him and posts it with the hashtag #bcnalgalop could win tickets for the CSIO Barcelona 2017.
His route will continue on to the L'Illa Diagonal shopping center (July 17th – 23rd), the Museu Olímpic (July 24th – 30th), the Jardinets del Palau Robert (August 1st – 15th), the Pony Club de la Oreneta (11th – 17th September), and will eventually end up at the CSIO Barcelona from 28th September to 1st October.
