Legal notice regarding the Law on the Protection of Personal Data

In accordance with the provisions stipulated in Article 5 of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December 1999, on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter, "OLPD"), the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona wishes to inform you that any personal data provided by you through the Information Request form, displayed on this page, will be stored in data files, the responsibility for which will lie with the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.

In accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the OLPD, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or objection, with regard to the processing of your personal data, by sending a written request to the registered office of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, located at Av. Doctor Marañón 17-31, 08028 Barcelona. The said request should be addressed to the organisation's communications department (comunicado@rcpolo.com). We kindly request that you inform the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona immediately of any modification to your personal data, so that the information contained in our data files may be kept up to date and free of errors at all times.

Also, by accepting this legal notice you acknowledge that the information and personal data provided by you are both accurate and truthful. Your personal data is collected with the purpose of providing you with requested services and sending you publicity material, offers of other products and services, alerts, offers and, in general, commercial information concerning the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona that may be of interest to you. In accordance with the provisions stipulated in Article 11 of the OLPD, by completing the Information Request form you give consent to your data being processed, for the purpose of forwarding information to you, within the scope of the legitimate functions of the transferor and transferee.

You also authorise the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona to send you commercial communications by electronic mail or any other equivalent electronic means. Authorisation to send commercial information, pass on data and send commercial communications by electronic means may be revoked at any time by means of a written communication, forwarded to the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona at the aforementioned address, in which the following information should be provided as identification: name and address.

The Real Club de Polo de Barcelona undertakes to treat your personal data with the utmost confidentiality and to use the said data solely for the purposes set out above. We also wish to inform you that the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona has implemented the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the safety of your personal data and avoid any alteration, loss or unauthorised treatment and/or access with regard to the said data, while taking into account the condition of the technology in question, the nature of the stored data and the possible risks due to human action or the physical and natural environment to which the data are exposed. All in accordance with the provisions stipulated in Article 9 of the OLPD and in Royal Decree 994/1999 of 11 June 1991, which approves the Regulation Governing Security Measures for Computerised Files Containing Personal Data.
