The third day of the CSIO Barcelona began with a very special event, the pony Copa Diputació – Calvet Trophy, which celebrated its first edition. As a result of an agreement between the Fundación del Real Club de Polo de Barcelona and the Federació Catalana d’Hípica, which created the CSIO Barcelona Academy to promote grassroots equestrianism, the Olympic arena at the RC Polo hosted the final of the Catalan Pony League in this Copa Diputació – Calvet Trophy.
The top ten pairs from the league participated in the competition, with the victory going to the duo of Fèlix Puigbó (Indira) and Mar Puyés (Dakota d’Argueil) from Open Sports Club, after a great effort from all the young participants.
